Mindy's Magical Adventures: Best Weekend of my life!

Hey y'all! So these past few days have been CRAZY!!! First of all of Thursday night I attended my hooding ceremony at Texas State with my fiancé, mommy & daddy. It was such a great ceremony. It made everything so official. Best part of graduating was that I got to do it with my best friend, Rachael. I literally couldn't have done any of it without her. After the ceremony sissy, Zach & Maddox were waiting for us at Casa Maria for a celebratory dinner and drinks :) I was so excited to finally see them. It was such a great night.

Friday morning was GRADUATION day!!!! We just hung out during the day until it was time to get ready to cross that stage. Graduation was so exciting! I was so sad to leave the amazing place I called home for the past 4 years. Luckily, I had the most amazing experience at Texas State and made the best friends and sisters any girl could ask for.After graduation we went to eat at Grins!!! It was so much fun! I had family come from Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, Seguin, Austin and Wimberley to share this special day with me. I am so blessed to be surrounded with all the love and support I receive 24/7 from my family and friends. It was a gradation I will never forget.

When saturday came around it was going to be my last day with my family until January 2014..so we planned on having FAMILY DAY. Mommy and nay woke us up with barbacoa and big red!!! :) BEST MORNING EVER!!! Then daddy came over & we watched the Rangers followed by Tangled. After that we all got ready and went to the Riverwalk to have an amazing lunch at Peasanos. It was delicious. Great Italian dinner and drinks with my wonderful family on the Riverwalk. I wouldn't have had it any other way. It was a day a will NEVER forget! :)

After the Riverwalk we went home and got in our comfy clothes. After laying around for a little while mommy started cooking...my favorite!!! Soft tacos, rice and beans & conchas!!!! IT WAS SOOO GOOD!!! Daddy got us coconut cream pie & ice cream for dessert. We were so stuffed! But it was sooo good! I am going to miss them all so much.

Then...it was Sunday morning and my family woke up bright and early to say "see you later" and the airport. It was such an emotional weekend and I don't know how I 'm going to be without them for 5 months. But thank goodness they are coming to visit! And thank goodness for face time. I love my family with all my heart and cannot wait to be back.
